Review: One True Loves is essentially the story of Tom Hank’s wife from Castaway. Emma is married to her high school sweetheart and on their one year wedding anniversary, her husband is in a helicopter crash and presumed dead. After mourning him, she moves back to her hometown and eventually falls in love again and is engaged to be married. And then her husband is found. What does she do? I wasn’t expecting this to be as emotional as it was and Jenkins Reid once again proves how talented she is. Heartfelt, well-constructed and I hope never to be in Emma’s shoes.
