Review: My 9-year old son and I read this over the summer and I absolutely loved it. My son is extremely picky and even he loved it. Cap has spent his entire life living off the grid with his grandmother. When she ends up in the hospital, he goes to live with the school counselor and finds himself in public school with other kids. Each chapter is written in alternating narratives between various characters.

Fantastic read-highly recommend for 3-5 grade.
